Camp Logistics, Prepped-Meals & Premium Video Shooter.

I am based in Calgary and seeking an apprenticeship with a hardcore big game outfitter. I am not looking to just guide on day one; I am looking to lock down your camp logistics and earn my spot.
What I bring to your camp:

Seeking guide position in Alberta

I am seeking a paid guiding position for the 2026 season with a reputable Alberta outfitter. My long-term goal is to build a career as a hunting guide in Alberta and eventually become an outfitter. I am eager to learn the profession properly under experienced mentorship.
Ideally, I would like to work in a mountain or foothills area with species such as deer, elk, moose, bighorn sheep, and bear. I understand that each territory is different and am fully prepared to focus on the game and seasons specific to your operation.
I am ready to start from the ground up—assisting with camp work, horses, equipment, scouting, and any tasks required to support a professional outfit. I am available for two to six months in 2026 and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to contribute and learn. More about my background and hunting experience is included in my attached application.

Looking for guiding opportunities.

My name is Colby Hales, I am 25 years old, living in Edmonton with 8 years of fishing guide experience. This experience comes from Lac La Martre Adventures (NWT), where I will be working this summer as a "Site Supervisor/Lead Guide". After our season ends in mid-September, I am looking to get more involved in guiding hunts.
Ultimately, I am looking for an outfitter that needs a hardworking helper/guide. I am eager to learn and hope to build the same level of professionalism and expertise that I have built on the fishing side. As for experience in the hunting industry, I have only started hunting in the past few years. Growing up in an area of the country that was not ideal for hunts, I was drawn more to fishing and developed an immense passion for it since I could walk. However, now living in Western Canada, I have sparked the same passion for hunting as I do for fishing.
Guiding full-time has been a goal of mine for years; I am hoping I can build connections and relationships to make this goal of mine a reality. I understand my availability unfortunately pushes later into the moose and whitetail seasons, but I believe I can get into the swing of things quickly once I am set up at an outfit.
I am there to work hard and learn. If you are interested in my help, please contact me using the information below. My resume is also available.

Hunting camp assistant/Guide

I am applying for a position as a Hunting Camp Assistant or Assistant Hunting Guide with your outfitting operation in Canada. I have more than 15 years of experience hunting with a bow in the Pyrenees mountains. Through this experience, I have developed strong skills in tracking, wildlife observation, navigation, and working safely in mountainous wilderness environments.
I am comfortable spending long periods in remote areas and working in difficult terrain and weather conditions. I have been a volunteer firefighter since 2006 and currently hold the rank of Warrant Officer. This experience has given me strong skills in emergency response, first aid, teamwork under pressure, and safety management in challenging environments.
My professional background includes agricultural work, technical maintenance, and physically demanding outdoor jobs. I am used to working long hours, maintaining equipment, helping with camp setup, and handling gear during hunting seasons.
I am reliable, hardworking, and highly motivated to work in the outdoors. I speak Basque, French, Spanish, and English, and can easily communicate with international clients and team members. I would welcome the opportunity to work with your team and contribute to the success of your hunting camp. I am available for seasonal or full-time work and willing to relocate to Canada.
I have my CV ready if you want more details. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Antique stove for sale

I am selling an old La Salle stove; it has a water reservoir and a warming oven (used to place old-fashioned clothes irons that were heated on the stove top). It also has a very deep cooking oven with racks and comes with its own cleaning tools for cleaning the ash box and shaking out the ashes.
The stove grates are new and were replaced when I brought it to my home. I now live in the city of Spruce Grove, so I can not use it even though it is fully functional. I did use it when I lived in the country for a few years, so I know it works well. The stove top has been refinished and is in great condition; there is no rust or damage to it anywhere.
I hope to have it purchased by someone who has a great appreciation for the antique value, as it is well-preserved. I think it would also enhance the look of the rustic environment that a hunting cabin offers. The price is to be negotiated. Please reach me through email
